Submissions Now Open for Fall 2023 Issue of The Scribe

The Scribe, a literary and arts publication sponsored by HFA Student Leadership Group, is now accepting submissions for its next issue.  The publication features original student work with the goal of highlighting the creativity of students from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. 

Submissions may include: 

• Photography
• Traditional art
• Short stories
• Poetry
• Music
• Videos
• And more!

The Scribe’s mission is to showcase the enormous talents in the undergraduate community at UMass. We feature art, photography, writing, music—anything our contributors have to share.

All work submitted to The Scribe is also eligible for submission in the HFA Student Creativity Showcase! This is a one-day event that takes place each spring.
