Join us for a casual, drop-in, First-Gen Welcome Back event!

As we kick off the new semester, the HFA Advising and Career Center and the Undergraduate Student Success Center (USSC) want to bring our community together. Whether you are the very first in your family to navigate college, or among the first to pave the way, we want to celebrate that journey with you!

The Plan: Low pressure, high connection.

Stop by to grab some refreshments, connect with fellow students, meet the HFA career and academic advising team, and chat with deans, faculty, and staff who share a first-generation background. Our partners from the USSC will also be there to help you discover new ways to get involved and make the most of the semester.

All HFA undergraduate and graduate students, staff, and faculty are invited-- and we especially hope you’ll join us if you are or were a first-generation college student or graduate. We’ll have plenty of swag and giveaway goodies to help you gear up. No RSVP required—just bring yourself (and a friend!).
