Dan Passov

I studied abroad in: London, UK (Fall 2022), Oxford, UK (Summer 2023), Nicosia, Cyprus (Winter 2024), Salamanca, Spain (Summer 2024) 

Studying abroad completely altered my trajectory as a UMass student. Not only have my experiences been filled with new friends, new sights, and a lot of cultural immersion, but they have also exposed me to a world otherwise inaccessible without UMass Abroad. Whether it was navigating my very first semester of college in London, attending high table dinner with Oxford’s finest professors, doing volunteer work at the UN buffer zone in Cyprus, or making special connections with my Spanish host family—my experiences abroad have been nothing short of incredible. 

After graduation, I intend on attending graduate school and having a career in foreign service. I also plan on applying for the Fulbright Program in the near future.
