While I was abroad in Italy, I enjoyed the most my Drawing on Location and Marine Biology class. Through it, I was able to view the beautiful sights of the Italian coast, take what resonated with me from them, and communicate it through watercolors and pens. I also learned a lot about volcanos and the creation of the Sorrento Peninsula due to the explosion of Mount Vesuvius. In Marine Biology, I learned all about the sea life in the Mediterranean. I was also able to visit and learn about the Marine Protected Areas around the Sorrento Peninsula, as well as learn about general conservation in Italy.

As I close out my time at UMass I am completing an Honors Thesis on Speech Perception and Audio-Visual Retuning, as well as applying to the Fulbright Scholarship and Law Schools.
