The Honors College begins each fall semester with an induction ceremony welcoming new students to our living and learning community. This time-honored tradition is a way for each member of our community to celebrate and thank new students for choosing to share their UMass journey with us. We invite all incoming first-year students to the Commonwealth Honors College Induction Ceremony to celebrate this milestone in our collective commitment to academic excellence, dedication to curiosity, and exploration of ideas — all in the service of developing a deeper understanding of and finding solutions to real-world challenges.

Livestream for Family and Friends:
Due to space limitations at the Bromery Center, the ceremony is reserved for students and staff only. While we regret that families and friends cannot attend in person, we invite them to join the celebration via livestream, with details to be shared as the date approaches.
