Paul Friedmann

Dr. Friedmann, a surgeon, has served as the executive director for the Pioneer Valley Life Sciences Institute and as senior vice president for academic affairs at Baystate Medical system.  He earned a BA from the University of Pennsylvania, an MD from Harvard Medical School, and an MBA from UMass Amherst.  In addition to his service on the Commonwealth Honors College Advisory Board, he is a member of the University of Massachusetts High Tech Executive Council.  He joined the CHC Advisory Board in 2009.
