Mr. Flynn is the President and Senior Trial Attorney for Flynn|Wirkus, P.C. (FW), a law firm that he founded in 1998. With headquarters in Braintree and a satellite office in New Bedford, FW specializes in representing people injured or killed in commercial fishing accidents and other maritime cases, construction site accidents, motor vehicle crashes, nursing home malpractice cases and cases of landowner negligence. Mr. Flynn also serves as the Executive Director of The Seaworthy Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to improving safety in the commercial fishing industry. Mr. Flynn formed Seaworthy along with two of his clients, the widow and father of fishermen who perished in the sinking of a commercial fishing vessel off the coast Nantucket. Mr. Flynn graduated summa cum laude from UMass Amherst in 1988 and was recognized as a Commonwealth Scholar, before graduating from Boston University School of Law. Both of Mr. Flynn’s brothers graduated from UMass Amherst, as have four of his children. Mr. Flynn joined the CHC Advisory Board in 2018.
