"Dynamic mindfulness is a humanizing pedagogy...the trauma is actually stored in our body. So, if we want to do intergenerational healing, this is a tool that helps bring things up, but also metabolize them in our bodies so that we don't blow trauma through other people and just continue that endless cycle of sort of violence." —Professor Nat Turner
