Dynamic Mindfulness & Contemplative Pedagogy Initiative
Professor Nat Turner leads a new initiative that reimagines an ecological model of wellness on campus—and beyond.
Professor Nat Turner, Language, Literacy, and Culture, is the College of Education's Leadership Fellow for academic year 2022-23. In this role, he leads the Dynamic Mindfulness and Contemplative Pedagogy Initiative, which, among other goals, aims to train students, faculty, and staff in DMind best practices. DMind is a "moving meditation" that works against hegemonic systems of oppression and intergenerational trauma.
