"I hope to learn about successful education reforms and lessons learned from the experience of other countries. I want to know about building efficient monitoring and evaluation systems that provide measurable indicators of academic progress in the context of developing countries. In addition, I would like to deepen my knowledge of the political and social impact of education on global justice, human rights and equality. I would like to learn how to build an inclusive education system that would lead to progress for a nation.
Essentially, I see this degree as the next step in my career. With the knowledge gained at UMass Amherst, I hope to join the education secretariat of the government of Uzbekistan to better contribute to the reform of education in Uzbekistan or work with a global international organization focused on children’s rights, education and social development in Central Asia."
