About

Professor John Hintze received his doctoral degree from Lehigh University. Prior to obtaining his doctoral degree, Dr. Hintze was a school psychologist in the public schools. His research interests are in curriculum-based measurement and response-to-intervention (RtI), clinical assessment, and research methods. His research interests focus on decision making within RtI multi-tiered service delivery models. Dr. Hintze teaches classes in principles and practices of school psychology, assessment, research design and program evaluation, and professional supervision. Dr. Hintze is licensed as both a School Psychologist and as a Health Service Provider (specializing in Child & Adolescent Clinical Psychology), is a APA Fellow of Division 16, and was the 1999 recipient of Division 16’s Lightner Witmer Award for research contributions to the field of School Psychology.
