Steve Sireci Elected to National Academy of Education

Stephen Sireci, Distinguished University Professor and executive director of the Center for Educational Assessment in the College of Education, has been elected to lifetime membership in the National Academy of Education. The announcement, made in a Jan. 21 release by the academy, states that Sireci is part of a new member class of “22 exceptional education leaders and scholars” who “represent a wide range of expertise in education research and policy.” He joins colleagues Greg Kelly, dean and Sonia Nieto, professor emerita of language, literacy and culture of the College of Education.
