National Writing Projects: Write Out

Students and faculty in early childhood and elementary education are engaging in writing activities from October 13 to October 27 as part of the National Writing Project’s Write Out: Poetry for the Planet in collaboration with the National Park Services. A Choice Board with pieces from nature and materials to make art and poetry is set up outside the Hub in Furcolo. All Students and faculty are invited to participate, write, paint, and add found materials engaging with the outdoors.  The goal is to be inspired by the world around us and to connect and learn through place-based writing and sharing.
