Lecturer Kate Way is currently directing a feature documentary film titled "97," which follows a small group of high schoolers in South Carolina who have been fighting the recent removal of 97 titles from their school library shelves. Many of the books deal with themes of, or were authored by members of, BIPOC or LGBTQ+ communities. Learn more about the film.
