Dr. Linda Cook Receives 2025 AERA Lindquist Award

UMass alumna Dr. Linda Cook has been named the 2025 recipient of the E. F. Lindquist Award by the American Educational Research Association (AERA). Presented in partnership with ACT, the award honors exceptional contributions to the field of educational testing and measurement. 

Dr. Cook is widely recognized for her leadership in advancing equitable and accessible assessment practices. Her career includes impactful work at ETS and ongoing service on the Board of Trustees for the Center for Assessment, where she continues to influence national testing policy and practice.

This award celebrates her decades-long commitment to fairness in education and her lasting impact on the field.
