The Secondary Education 4+1 pathway is designed for teachers passionate about working with students in middle and high school. You can specialize in the following subject areas:
Middle and High School: Mathematics, Science (Biology, Chemistry, General Science, Physics), English and History.
Fast Facts about Secondary Education 4+1
- Begin the application process in your junior year. The deadline is mid-January.
- Transfer up to 12 credits earned as an undergraduate.
- Steps towards admission:
- Attend an info session (Fall of junior year) - November 14, 28 and December 5
- Submit your application
- Meet with an advisor to choose eligible classes
- Declare a pathway (UTS or 180 Days) your senior year
