Social Justice Education Graduate Certificate in Teaching for Diversity – Online Course of Study
Course of Study
To complete the SJE graduate certificate, students take five courses, including four foundational courses and a practicum that is the last class for the certificate.
- EDUC 678E (was 691E) – Confronting Oppression in Education, 3 credits
- EDUC 648 – Liberatory Pedagogies for Social Transformation, 3 credits
- EDUC 678B - Curriculum Design for Social Justice Education, 3 credits
- EDUC 678A – Teaching and Facilitation for Social Justice Education, 3 credits
- EDUC 691G – Practicum: Reflective Practice, 3 credits
