Yokaira López-Tifa

Yokaira López-Tifa is an adjunct lecturer for the College of Education. She was previously a doctoral student pursuing research on Latinx bilingual educators' pathways and classroom experiences.

López-Tifa has over nine years of experience teaching to students grades PreK–12 and beyond, in diverse educational settings including Guatemala, Puerto Rico, and Massachusetts. Yokaira's cross-cultural background, with schooling in Puerto Rico, Spain, and Massachusetts, informs her commitment to diversifying the teacher workforce. She received her master's in educational leadership and administration from Cambridge College in 2019.
