Zhaoyu (Miranda) Wang

Zhaoyu (Miranda) Wang is completing her PhD in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Second Language Education at the Pennsylvania State University. Her research interests center around Vygotskian Sociocultural Theory, Second Language Writing, and Language Teacher Education. Her work primarily investigates multilingual learners' language development and explores how to create (social) environments and activities to promote learner abilities in an additional language. She has published works in journals such as Language Teaching and presented at national conferences, including the Association for Applied Linguistics (AAAL) and the American Educational Research Association (AERA).
