James MacNeil

D. James MacNeil, Ed. D., has 30 years of experience in international development and educational programming, research and policy development. Most recently, he served as Vice President of World Education, Inc., overseeing education and inclusive development projects in Nepal, Cambodia, and Laos. His previous experience in the education and development sectors includes the countries of Vietnam, India, Thailand, and Indonesia.

He holds an M.Ed from the College of Education and a Doctor of Education degree from Harvard Graduate School of Education. He is an adjunct faculty member at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and currently teaches graduate-level courses in Comparative and International Education and in the Early Grade Reading certificate program.
