Carmelo Chiello

Carmelo Chiello is the Director of Educator Preparation in the College of Education at UMass Amherst. Over the course of his twenty years working in Education, he has taught EFL in Spain, middle school Social Studies in South Florida, and various Teacher Education courses in Massachusetts. He has also worked as a practicum program supervisor across grade levels and content areas for several years. Carmelo holds an Ed.S in Language, Literacy, and Culture from UMass Amherst.
