Danielle Allessio

Danielle Allessio conducts research in the Manning College of Information and Computer Sciences at UMass Amherst, focusing on educational technology and intelligent tutoring systems that adapt their behavior to the student's math skills, affective states and metacognitive states. She creates novel technologies for K12 students’ learning and assessment. Dr. Allessio leads recruitment and PD efforts, leads content development efforts, helps manage undergraduate and graduate students, and helps bring the tutor to schools.
