Josh Burton

Josh Burton is a multi-skilled higher education professional whose experience has spanned athletics, student affairs, administration and finance, and academic affairs during his professional tenure at UMass. He has extensive experience in management of complex budgets, project management, facilities and construction management, human resources, and strategic planning. Josh provides leadership for the College in the finance and planning functions and its associated departments and programs. He works with colleagues across the College to address the financial and planning imperatives that drive and impact institutional goals.

Josh holds multiple degrees from UMass Amherst, having earned a bachelor’s degree in music, then a master’s in Higher Education Administration. He has been a staff member at UMass since 2011.
