Annie Foley Ruiz

Dr. Annie Foley Ruiz has been in public education since 1999 as a kindergarten teacher, Curriculum Director, and Principal.  Her research interests center on the experiences of novice teachers as they come to understand the complexities of the work of teaching, specifically centering on areas such as the moral work of teaching, culturally sustaining pedagogy, social emotional learning, and social justice.
