Content
Hybrid Event: University of Massachusetts Club, Boston, MA and on Zoom
This high-level briefing presents new findings from multi-year research on climate resilience and green economic development across Massachusetts municipalities. The work is based on three surveys conducted in partnership with the Massachusetts Municipal Association (MMA), with valuable input from the Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness (MVP) Program and the Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs (EEA).
The event brings together state agencies, municipal leaders, and research partners to discuss workforce development, green job creation, and policy tools to support local implementation.
About the Sustainable Solutions Lecture Series: Hosted by the School of Earth & Sustainability (SES) at UMass Amherst with support of the School of Public Policy, the Sustainable Solutions Lecture Series convenes leading researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to advance actionable solutions to pressing environmental challenges and to strengthen the connection between science, policy, and practice.
