The Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences conducts research to contribute to our society’s scientific understanding of human behavior including neural underpinnings, cognitive abilities, social and emotional interactions, change across the lifespan, and both healthy and disordered function. As part of this mission, we encourage undergraduate students to participate in research studies, learn about how data is collected from human participants, and understand how data support conclusions that can be made about the brains and behavior of dynamic, interacting, complex humans.
