Student Spotlight: Mahsa Baghbanijavid
Mahsa Baghbanijavid, was born and raised in Tehran, Iran. She saw that a lack of knowledge in medicine and biology caused many problems, specifically for women. The less privileged women in some parts of Iran still fight for their most basic rights on their bodies.
For this reason, Mahsa chose to major in biology on the pre-med track. She wants to be able to help women in Iran and in all parts of the world.
Mahsa is currently a Samsung brand influencer on campus and works as a photography assistant for the CNS communications team. She is also a member of CNS' Dean's Student Advisory Council and attends the pre-health advisory meetings.
Mahsa's advice for CNS majors is "You don't have to know for sure what you're going to do for your future. Try to explore new things, talk with advisors and professors, and give yourself some time before choosing a path." She loves the CNS community and hopes we can make the college experience better for everyone every day!
