Dwayne Breger Discusses New Tailpipe-emission Regulations with WHMP's 'Talk the Talk'

Dwayne Breger, the director of UMass's Clean Energy Extension, recently discussed the federal government’s new regulations governing pollution from vehicle tailpipes on WHMP's Talk the Talk radio show.

"This is a big deal—a bold new announcement by the Biden administration, really pushing the country forward in transforming our vehicle sector to cleaner vehicles. While the regulations are not specific to electric vehicles, it really constrains the amount of emissions that can come from our fleet of cars from across the Unites States, which really means that manufacturers and dealers of vehicles will need to be selling more and more electric vehicles to customers as time goes on."
