- Independent Studies and Internships
- To gain approval for an independent study, please discuss the topic and plan with the proposed instructor and then submit the form at the bottom of this page to Eric Sommers (Math) or Maryclare Griffin (Stats).
- The department can approve internships at various levels. The 298-level is mandatory pass/fail and is good for internships that are not directly related to research in Math or Stats. Higher levels like 398 can be approved for internships that involve research related to the major. The first step is to reach out to Garret Cahill (CUA).
