UMass Amherst’s multidisciplinary arts and innovation hub supports the development of students and artists and enhances the cultural life of Western Massachusetts. The center houses the Frederick C. Tillis Performance Hall, the Curtain Theater, the music and theater departments, and more.

Opened in 2008, the Studio Arts Building houses studios for faculty, graduate students, and undergraduates; instructional studios and shops for digital media, drawing, painting, photography, and sculpture; and administrative offices. 

On the fourth floor of the Bromery Center you’ll find a makerspace for the departments of art, music and dance, and theater. The multidisciplinary space includes a design studio, theater rehearsal studio, costume shop, music education classroom, music seminar room, recording studio, and more.

South College is the hub of HFA. Located at the campus core near Goodell Hall and the Old Chapel, South College offers ample study space and is home to several HFA departments, the dean's office, the Advising and Career Center, and more. 

Home of the Herter Art Gallery, Herter Hall houses many HFA departments, so students will be familiar with this historic academic building located near the Bromery Center for the Arts. 

Formerly a residence hall, New Africa House is home to the Augusta Savage Gallery, the W. E. B. Du Bois African-American Studies Department, and the Center for Women and Community.
