This course aims at the acquisition of language skills to read, write, listen and speak in intermediate-level Korean. It is designed for students who have taken Elementary Korean courses with a passing grade or have the equivalent training in basic-level language ability of reading, writing, listening, and speaking. In addition to the classroom instruction, there will be an hour of conversation session with the tutors, which students have to attend every week to practice speaking. In accordance with the national standards in foreign language education, all Five Cs (Communication, Cultures, Connections, Comparisons, and Communities) will be emphasized in the course. Students need to complete level 245 to satisfy the intermediate language level required by HFA.
