Career Advising for Students

The HFA Career Center can help you determine your career objectives and find and apply for professional opportunities. Visit us in South College E202 during the semester for our drop-in services or make an appointment with us below!

Career Advising: We are available over the summer for job and internship advice, interview preparation, career exploration, and networking support. You can meet with us in person or by Zoom. We also offer asynchronous resume reviews. 

How to schedule with a Career Advisor?

Make an appointment in Handshake to schedule with us, either in person (South College E202) or virtually. 

Follow these steps: 

• Click on Career Center on the left-hand side of the page (below Jobs), then
• Appointments > Request an Appointment > College of Humanities and Fine Arts > Select the type of meeting you would like > Choose your appointment date and time. 

For Asynchronous Resume & Cover Letter Reviews and Quick Career Questions:

• Use this Google Form (make sure you are signed into your UMass Gmail account) to submit your documents and career questions, and an advisor will give you feedback.
