Lara Matta

Dr. Lara Matta holds a PhD in Comparative Literature from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, an MA in Anglophone Languages, Literatures, and Cultures from Université Paul Valéry in France, and an undergraduate degree in Anglophone Languages and Literatures from the Lebanese University. She earned certificates from the Mount Holyoke College Program in Critical Social Thought and the Leadership Certificate Programs at Cornell University. Dr. Matta is a native speaker of Arabic and French. In addition to her role as Assistant Director of the Translation Center, she is also Editor in Chief of Metamorphoses.
