Susannah Poland

Susannah Poland is a M.Ed candidate in the International Education program, and she loves helping students learn through writing. Susannah fell in love with writing while she was developing an honors thesis for her B.A. in anthropology at Stanford University in 2012, and has continued writing professionally through different roles: researching emergent feminisms for the Smithsonian National Museum of African Art; conducting ethnography on Mount Everest; developing curricula for National Geographic Student Expeditions; and documenting a Buddhist education reform in Bhutan. She has coached young writers of many backgrounds and is thrilled to work with CHC students.
