The Center for Teaching and Learning began the TIDE Ambassadors Fellowship program in 2016, to help faculty that are interested in developing and utilizing inclusive and equity-focused teaching practices that foster an inclusive and equitable learning environment for the UMass community.

During the year-long program, faculty participate in reflective practices and experiential learning activities, host discussions on how to utilize inclusive and equity models in their teaching and implement these models into their course designs, and complete a TIDE Ambassadors project.

Dr. Pitidou will join the 2025-26 cohort of the TIDE program. She has been a part of EDUC’s faculty since 2021, and became the Program Coordinator to the Early Childhood Education program last fall.
