Advanced doctoral students Paige Pannozzo and Caitlin Violette participated in the highly competitive APPIC Match for Psychology Internships and have secured placements at outstanding sites in our region. The match is a significant achievement on their path to becoming licensed school psychologists and health services providers.

Paige Pannozzo, advised by Dr. Sara Whitcomb, has matched with White Birch Educational Services in Bedford, NH. Paige is a committed clinician and researcher whose work in systemic advocacy, cultural responsiveness, and social justice distinguishes her. She excels at integrating evidence-based practices and translating research into meaningful strategies for students, caregivers, and educators. 

Caitlin Violette, advised by Dr. Sarah Fefer, has matched with the Connecticut Psychology Consortium in Hampton, CT, as part of the Aspire Program. Caitlin’s passion for school psychology is evident in her research, leadership, and direct work with students. She applies her expertise in evidence-based interventions, data-driven decision-making, and social-emotional learning to drive meaningful improvements in school communities.

The APPIC Match is a rigorous and highly competitive process that pairs psychology doctoral students with accredited internship programs nationwide. It represents a crucial step in a clinician’s training, signifying their transition from graduate studies to professional practice. Successfully matching with an internship site is a testament to a candidate’s dedication, expertise, and readiness to make valuable contributions to the field of psychology.
