Statistical Consulting Services
The College of Education’s free Statistical Consulting Services are available to assist graduate students and faculty with quantitative skills and research support across multiple disciplines (e.g., education, psychology, public health). We are here to provide resources, in-person project support, or tutoring in statistics or other areas that involve quantitative skills. Students and faculty from the Research, Educational Measurement, & Psychometrics degree program are available to provide guidance and assistance with the following methodological and statistical procedures, and more!

The College of Education’s free Statistical Consulting Services are available during both fall and spring semesters and begin during the first few weeks of classes. Consulting services will conclude at the end of the last week of classes each semester. Students and faculty can take advantage of statistical consulting services during the following drop-in hours, as well as by appointment.

Consultants are available five days a week to provide assistance to all students in the College of Education. View the current semester drop-in hours.

An Introduction to R |
This workshop will serve as a basic introduction to R and is appropriate for anyone that has little or no experience using R. We will introduce the interface, explore some basic concepts, and create simple code segments. |

Data Visualization Using R |
This workshop will be an introduction to applying data visualization tools in R. This workshop is intended for participants with minimal experience using R. We will explore some of the basic graphing and plotting features available in R. |
Attendees should bring their own computers, and we will provide assistance with installing the software if needed.
