Arts Management Non-Credit Certificate
The Arts Extension Service offers non-credit options for their three online Certificates in Arts Management - Core, Professional and Leadership. A non-credit option is ideal for those who are committed to the field but aren't in need of a degree, would like to focus on learning and not a grade or are just simply looking to save money. These options are fully online and provide the same level of education as the for-credit programs.
Massachusetts Test for Educator Licensure (MTEL)
Held throughout the year, these workshops helps candidates for educator licensure in Massachusetts prepare to pass the Communication and Literacy Skills (CLS) portion of the Massachusetts Tests for Educator Licensure (MTEL).
Professional Music Performance
Designed for performing musicians in the early stages of their careers,this program offers you private instruction with UMass Music & Dance Department faculty and participation in the Department’s many ensembles.
Western Massachusetts Writing Project (WMWP)
WMWP is a local site of the National Writing Project, which provides professional development and literacy leadership programs by teachers for teachers. They offer a range of professional development and programs, including courses, certificates, and summer institutes.
Winter School for Turf Managers
Designed for experienced professionals working with golf courses, athletic fields, parks, municipal and private grounds, fine lawns, and landscapes, this certificate program helps you learn concepts essential to maintaining high-quality turf, with emphasis on environmental stewardship and fiscal responsibility.
