SBS Faculty Cited in Presidential Economic Report

Research

Research by Fidan Kurtulus, economics, and Don Tomaskovic-Devey, sociology, is cited in the recently release 2024 Presidential Economic Report. The research appears in chapter one of the report, "The Benefits of Full Employment," in a section on the introductions of legislation to reduce workplace discrimination. 

According to the White House website, the 2024 Economic Report of the President is, "the 78th report since the establishment of CEA [Council of Economic Advisers] in 1946. The 2024 Report brings economic evidence and data to bear on many of today's most significant issues and questions in domestic and international economic policy."
