Mednicoff on Netanyahu and the Israeli Court Crisis
Content
David Mednicoff, public policy and Middle Eastern studies, recently wrote a column for The Conversation on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu cementing his political legacy with the enactment of contentious judicial system changes. "As a scholar of Middle Eastern politics, I think Netanyahu's long-term legacy will be based on three major developments. He has shifted Israeli politics rightward. He has stymied the emergence of a Palestinian state. He has increased Israel's links to nondemocratic foreign governments," says Mednicoff.
Mednicoff was also interviewed on Al Jazeera English about U.S. attitudes towards the Israeli court crisis.
