Jesse Rhodes, political science and co-director of UMass Amherst Poll, recently appeared on Fox News to discuss the findings of a new poll on reparations in the U.S. The results showed that just over a third of Americans somewhat or definitely support reparations. 

"Many Americans have some difficulty understanding how slavery, which ended over 150 years ago, may continue to have consequences for African-Americans today," notes Rhodes.
