The Department of Landscape Architecture & Regional Planning's Zube Lecture Series gathers educators, researchers, and practitioners from around the world to give weekly talks on major topics in the fields of landscape architecture, planning, and sustainable community development.
In this week's Zube Lecture, Seth Borgos and Jennifer Wells will explore the impact and potential of community organizing for building sustainable power in communities affected by poverty, racism, and other forms of oppression.
Zube Lectures are held every Thursday at 4:00 p.m. ET (unless otherwise noted) in the John W. Olver Design Building Lecture Hall (Room 170) at 551 North Pleasant St, Amherst, MA 01002. Lecture recordings are posted to UMass LARP - YouTube approximately 1 week following the event.
