This webinar features UMass SBS faculty with expertise on Venezuelan politics, Latin American politics, and international and domestic law to make sense of the recent military incursion and arrest of Nicholas Maduro. Panelists will discuss the legal basis, or lack thereof, for the invasion and arrest. They will also what this means for Venezuelans still living in the country, those abroad, and all Americans as well as the Trump administration pursues its security, political, and economic goals.
