The International Relations Certificate is sponsored by the Department of Political Science and the Five College Consortium. Students interested in pursuing the certificate will complete at least seven courses beyond their undergraduate experience which focus within the following areas: world politics and institutions, international economies, the history of international systems, US foreign policy, and the politics, history, economy, or culture of one or more foreign regions. 

In order to receive credit for the certificate, students must receive an honors grade of B or higher in all courses, as well as demonstrate an intermediate level of competence in a contemporary foreign language.
