Janet Bordwin

As director of the College of Natural Sciences’ Career and Professional Development Center, Janet Bordwin provides leadership and strategic planning for the CNS Career Center, does outreach work with employers, and oversees career advising.

She brings to the role more than twenty years' professional experience in higher education, most recently as assistant director of career development at the Chase Career Center in the Isenberg School of Management. She also served as graduate career coordinator in the College of Engineering Career Center. In addition, Bordwin has worked in organizational development, managing and expanding an internship program, and ran her own career development and resume-writing business.

Bordwin holds a BA in English from Wesleyan University and an MS in higher education counseling from the University of Rochester
