Amber Nguyen

Amber Nguyen is a University of Massachusetts Amherst alumnus, class of 2022. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies, and an undergraduate certificate in Criminology and the Criminal Justice System. Amber is working at the CNS Career Center on Mondays and Tuesdays. For the rest of the week, she works at ServiceNet as an Outreach Counselor, specializes in Mental Health Recovery Services under the Department of Mental Health. Amber had previous experience working at the CNS Career Center as a Peer Advisor during her senior year where she met with students for drop-ins. Her favorite part of being at the Career Center is assisting students with trouble-shooting and problem-solving obstacles that they face on their career-searching journeys. Originally from Vietnam, Amber understands the unique experience of being an international student at UMass Amherst and the challenges that follow. In her free time, Amber enjoys reading the latest best-sellers and watching movies.
