Fall 2025 Faculty Dance Concert: Under & Intuit
A collaboration of UMass and Amherst College faculty choreographers: Lauren Cox, Michele Byrd-McPhee, Angelica Monteiro & Jenna Riegal, plus a restaging of Katherine Dunham's Progressions
The Amherst College/UMass Amherst Fall Faculty Dance Concert is a new tradition of the joining of our two departments to perform and celebrate both new and historic works choreographed by our faculty and guest artists. This fall, four faculty members from Amherst College and UMass created original dances: Michele Byrd-McPhee, Lauren Cox, Angelica Monteiro, and Jenna Riegel. They have the special honor of presenting a restaging by Saroya Corbett of Katherine Dunham's exposition of the fundamentals of Dunham Technique, Progressions in Dunham Technique.
