Dance Program Open House, Fall 2023

We have curated a Virtual Open House for prospective dance majors, including high school juniors and seniors, transfers and current UMass students. You will interact with dance majors and faculty, receive a program overview, Q&A and virtual tour of our facilities. Current dance students will share their research and excerpts of performances. You will meet our faculty, whose research truly reflects the scope of our department.

There will be opportunities to apply and schedule more time with us in order to support your pathway in becoming a UMass Dance Major leading to a career and life in the arts.

Description:
The process of preparing for and performing in the collegiate dance world will be discussed in detail by the UMass Dance Program faculty. The event is open to current UMass students, high school students and their families, as well as dance teachers. For your viewing convenience, it is okay for more than one person from a household to register for the event. The Zoom link will be provided after you register.
