Katie Gray is an adjunct professor in the school counseling department and an independent consultant and leadership coach, who formed her own business called Unique Potential in 2007. Ms. Gray has over 28 years of experience in public education as a school counselor and an administrator. She was Director of Student Services at Blackstone Valley Regional Vocational School District from 1997-2006. In 2006 she was named the American School Counselor Association’s Supervisor of the Year. Currently, she is serving as liaison between the MA School Counselors' Association and the MA Department of Elementary and Secondary Education's College and Career Readiness Unit. She was the primary author of the College and Career Advising Framework which is being used to support districts as they implement more comprehensive and integrated career development education. She also currently is coaching district leaders in Holyoke and Athol as they focus on social emotional learning initiatives.
