Principal Research Interests: 

During his doctoral studies, Dr. He discovered and tracked the stepwise insertion mechanism for the in vivo movement of a membrane inserting enzyme named YidC in microorganisms. Dr. He also served as a seasoned instructor since graduate school. He agrees with the Confucian philosophy of “individualized education” and optimizes his teaching strategy for fairness and efficiency in students' learning process.
