Charles River Campus Innovation Space members gain access to the core laboratories, makerspaces, and other innovation facilities at the state’s flagship public research university.

The Charles River Campus of UMass Amherst is home to over 15,000 square feet of facilities to help businesses grow.

The campus Innovation Space was established by UMass Amherst and the UMass Innovation Institute to connect early-stage companies with the Commonwealth’s largest public research university.

Located on the Charles River Campus in Newton, Mass., the Innovation Space is home to a community of entrepreneurs and includes shared laboratories and office space.

Consistent with the mission and strategic plan of the campus, Innovation Space members are expected to provide professional development opportunities for UMass Amherst students, including informational interviews, internships, and/or networking opportunities.
